Judith Nyambura Mwangi aka Avril is one of the most popular and beautiful Kenyan female singers, and always leaves men drooling with her curvy body. Avril , who is also an actress and the Kenyan Oriflame ambassador, has been engaged to her South African boyfriend, Muga, for almost three years now, but there has been no signs of wedding bells to date. There have been rumours going around that Avril had been dumped by the real estate developer and venture capitalist, when he posted photos with hot Big Brother winner Dillish Mathews during this year’s Valentine’s Day. Dillish later clarified that she and Muga were only friends and business partners, with Avril choosing to stay silent on the matter. A few days later, Muga shared a photo of Avril’s Kora nomination post, urging her fans to vote for her, and also insinuating that the breakup allegations were just assumptions. Avril commented on the same post with: “Thanks Babe” Well, we thought things were fine and that we would start receiving wedding invitations by June, but this has not been so. Another thing that was very noticeable is that they no longer share pics of each other on social media, and are rarely seen in public together. So, what’s really going on? Was the engagement called off or are they just taking time because of their different cultural backgrounds? Well, I got to talk to Avril and ask her about her relationship with Muga, and she was kind enough to tell me the whole truth! I also asked her about her alleged affair with Bongo star, Diamond Platnumz, and if they are set to work together anytime soon. Here’s how it went down. 1. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to happen, three years down the line and I’m like, you know. Plus I lost my father earlier this year, so there are a lot of things I had to deal with emotionally and some things were not really a priority, and that, has not been a priority of mine of late! 2. So Are You Guys Still Together? Well,… it’s a slippery slope. It’s one of those. 3. What About Your Alleged Affair With Diamond Platnumz. Have You Guys Ever Had a Thing? Why would people think that? As in how many years later, but I guess it’s because we both have very strong personalities, so people would assume we have had or still have a thing, but it’s never happened, he’s just my boy. He’s very passionate about music and his hustle is on point, which I love, so such things make you a friend to that person and that’s exactly how it is. 4. Are You And Diamond Ever Going To Work Together Anytime Soon? We have discussed it many times and I still keep in touch with his management as well.
