Malawi has become the latest country in South Africa to legalize the cultivation and export of marijuana.
Those who use marijuana as a hobby see marijuana as, "Malawi Gold", the Malawi Gold as they call it, one of the best remedies.
But officials have banned the legal use of marijuana for individuals. It will be used to make medicine and power fabrics, herbs, paper and other products.
The sale of marijuana can replace the tobacco business, which is heavily dependent on Malawi.
Other African countries that have legalized marijuana cultivation include South Africa, Zambia, Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
